It gives me an immense pleasure to welcome you all in the beautiful, well-structured campus of Kasegaon Education Society’s Arts and Commerce College, Kasegaon. It was established in the month of June, 1985 as a tribute to Late LokneteRajarambapuPatil, who had a dream to provide education from K.G. to P.G. to the students from down-trodden section in Kasegaon and nearby villages with the efforts taken by Hon. JayantPatil, M.L.A., Maharashtra State under Kasegaon Education Society, Kasegaon. The specific goal of the college is to create confidence amongst the students by creating a sense in them which is not only job - oriented but also enables them to stand on their own feet as good citizens. We take efforts to bring excellence by offering new courses, more and more facilities in academic as well as in extra –curricular activities for students and faculty, by implementing innovative practices for the institute and the community. We are quite sure to reach our destination throughquality education, by preparing them for self –reliance. The college is conscious about the socio-economic background of the students hailing from rural and hilly area. Therefore, the college aimed to discipline the minds of these students and make them aware about the competitive nature of world. Our college offered graduation in B. A., B. Com., B. Sc. andSelf– Financed Professional Degree Course like B.C.A. and Short Term Courses like C.O.C. in Communicative English and in Tax Practices.The College organizes co-curricular activities such as Avishkar Research Competition, Poster - Presentation and Extra - Curricular Activities through various activity groups such as Cultural, N.S.S., Akshargandha Annual Magazine, Competitive Examination Guidance Centre, Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Shabdagandha-Wallpaper,Computer Literacy and Management Awareness Committee, Physical Education and Sportsetc. for the holistic development of the students.
The dedicated faculty of the College always strives hard for the overall development of the students. The research achievements of the faculty have received national and international recognition. I am really proud that our alumni are spread in all corners of India holding prominent positions.
